Kalena has been with Stella Nova since 2003. Her passion about her career is evident as she excels in all hair styling categories including balayage, short hair, textured hair, challenged/distressed hair, fashion-forward styles, updos, and editorial styling.

Kalena is a family girl so when she isn’t making your hair look fabulous, she is with loved ones (both human and four-legged and furry) and friends. If you like to get out-and-about, you might find her laughing with friends while enjoying a cocktail around one of Charleston’s restaurants. "For myself and my clients to have an understanding of both the art and science of hairdressing. I cut your hair I don't give you 'a haircut'. Consultation is key. I want my clients to have some 'take home' hair. I want to understand your style routine and decide, together, what type of cut/color is the best for the growth pattern, texture, and condition of your hair, as well as evaluating what will work best with the frequency of your visits. There is a psychology behind what we do as stylists and I want my clients to feel 100% confident that I will achieve their desired results. Hairstyling is a passion. An art."
